Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
The quote tool collects six data points: your gender, date of birth, health condition, tobacco status, desired coverage amount, and term preference. These are sufficient for carriers to provide rates. Your name, address, and detailed health information are requested only if you proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the quotes from carriers for the class you selected. The carrier establishes the actual premium during underwriting, which may verify, upgrade, or modify the class. This site makes no insurance offer and guarantees no price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You supply your name, your selected quote generates the application form, and it continues on the carriers' secure platform. Feel free to pause and return at any time, and you'll sign your name online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, your requested amount, and your health answers. Many issuers with immediate coverage options approve eligible applicants quickly; every quote indicates whether an exam is mandatory, possible, or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
Term duration should match the years your family would face financial difficulty without you: a house payment, dependent children, business debt. Selecting a longer duration increases the monthly premium but freezes your rate longer. You can evaluate 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options in the quote comparison.
Does this site sell my information?
Correct. The quote tool gathers no contact information, we don't distribute visitor data, and tracking is entirely cookie-free. Visit the privacy section for the complete accounting of what we gather and from whom.
